Chrysalis Australia is an incorporated non profit organisation founded in 2019 that is working on high quality media production on location in Melbourne, Victoria filming transgender events.
Due to the small market in Australia our events are not regular but they do happen and we try our best to be there to capture high quality video (and sound) for our YouTube channel!
The team has successfully filmed, edited and produced over 152 videos on our main channel and more on our partner channels since we started in 2019!
We're currently working on a music video which will be shot later this year at Kindred Studios in Yarraville

The purpose of our organisation is to provide support and leadership to the Australian transgender community and provide links to our international partner organisations and partner companies in Thailand and The Philippines. We're currently building a team of dedicated and motivated volunteers to work with us on location on media production of transgender cultural events in Melbourne which includes The Showgirls events at The Pride of Our Footscray Community Bar
Videography, Sound, Communications and Photography equipment is available for hire from us at very reasonable prices for any use case that supports the Australian Transgender Community.
When we're not working on location we're certainly working hard behind the scenes helping to give a voice and a platform to the transgender community.
We're known for our very high quality professional sound recording capabilities at events, examples of which can be heard in Talissas performance of Que Sera Sera and Dolche Amores incredible vocals which brought down the house that night!
By popular request Chrysalis Australia now accepts EFTPOS for easy payments at events, on location and at head office for videography, sound, communications and photography equipment hire as well as for consulting services.
